Face Unlock -Battery drain?

Just wondering, as the camera needs to be engaged each time you Face unlock, if that is a heavy battery drain (that I would clearly give up "coolness" for in favor of improved battery life) ?

I doubt it it takes less than a second...

I doubt it drains the battery but I did read when I researched the security methods that for whatever reason it is considered less secure than the pin method.

Instead of the picture login, I use an 8 digit pin number.
