10-25-2012 08:17 AMICS took away the 3G only mode so if you want to stay off LTE and save battery, follow the steps here from Droid Life.

10-25-2012 09:03 AMSurprise! I downloaded the app (rather than the simple manual method described) and move to 3g from 4g. Big difference for me, much faster. Go figure. Of course since ICS I am at 1200MHZ on my processor. It might be worth a try for others. Also quadrant went from 2850 to 3059.. again..go figure!
