I apologize, I misspoke (mistyped?), what I did mean is that there are three different downloads of the same file. Keeping track of all these different downloads can be a little confusing.

Yes but they are the same file. And it causes lots of people confusion when they see people discussing "different versions". Then I get 100 pm's about "omgz ponies which is the 'right' file? I don't want to get the wrong one and be off the ota path or brick my phone." So understand where my frustration comes from. I have enough problems with people not wanting to wait for the update (which is now available for pull and why the server is overloaded) and rushing into the House without reading. When they f it up, and they usually do cause they're too impatient to bother following the steps, they just pm me with "it didn't work what do I do" as though I'm going to personally hand hold them through each step. I certainly don't need the added nonsense about which is the ota file. I hope you understand where I'm coming from.

I'm sorry , I didn't realize a pen and pad of paper were "old fashion". Now I feel old, as I use both everyday.

Kinda off subject but but thx for the suggestion on facotory cables adapters Samuri just got my Team Black Hat adapters yesterday. Placed order on saturday so was shocked to see them im mail box in 2 days exellent service.

Quick question. If the ICS OTA fails to install, does it have to be downloaded again and again until it installs, or can I find it somewhere on the phone after it's been downloaded and run it from there? Trying to change all settings to factory defaults that I changed with sqlite editor and see if it will install without unrooting. If that doesn't work, it'll be a night of trying to unroot using a mac.

Just RSD Lite it back to stock if you don't mind losing your app data.

Just use house of bionic and forget all that noise, sounds like a real pain in the wazoo. Won't lose data that way either.
