Let me say something about the whole "brick" thing. I have more experience in that area than most given my history. Barring doing something so intentionally bad to your phone, I've *NEVER* seen one "bricked". You have to really work at it to brick it. You may get your phone into a "soft brick" situation where yes, it doesn't boot. But that's fixable. Out of the hundreds (thousand +?) users I've supported with the HoB, I've never failed once to get someone back to a working phone. The biggest key is to read, pay attention, and follow directions. People that do that, don't have problems. So I get being cautious, but, the absolute FEAR of "OMGZ PONIES BRICK!" is overstated. Significantly.

I'm glad to hear you have a bit of hope for JB on the bionic. Do you think if moto doesn't officially release JB for us they may give a little backdoor support through the skunkworks?
I recall a situation back in the 60's when GM had an official no racing policy but somehow Zora Duntov created the Corvette Grand Sport to take on the Cobra. During the cars debut at Nassau Speed week it had some mechanical problems and much to Corporates surprise many GM design and build engineers just happened to all be having a vacation there that week. A whole team came out of the stands to get the problem solved.
Engineers can take a lot of personal pride in a product long after their bosses are told to move on to something else.
