Yes, being rooted will not cause the update to fail. However, if you've changed any system files or removed any system apps(bloatware) as a result of rooting, that's a different story. Moto doesn't want you to be rooted because there's always a potential for system file changes, and they don't want to ruin the results of the soak test by troubleshooting problems a user introduced because they aren't fully stock. As long as you haven't changed any system files, the update will work just fine.

If I understand your question... once the release is out in the wild it will be checked against what is believed to be OTA ( the. 247 leak) and provided it matches..then those already running
. 247 should be already on the path. If for whatever reason. 247 is not the OTA, the HoB will be updated accordingly.
After the OTA is established, an FXZ file will be compiled.
