Yeah kind of overlooked the fact that it resides in the preinstall partition, so when the mini-FXZ reflashes that, bye bye CM10 *LOL*

I'm really eager to try CM10...but had a bad experience with Safestrap a couple of months back...kinda jumped the gun and thought something was wrong, causing a fast boot error...long story short....is CM10 really that smooth?

Well, all of my previous CM experience was based on CM9 builds that ran on top of the GB kernel. So CM10, to be honest, is amazing. It will give you a good idea of what JB on the Bionic will be like, especially if they go with an AOSP build. The data issues from the ICS/GB hybrid builds of CM9 are completely nonexistent. On a fresh reboot, data takes ~30 seconds to fully connect to Google, and it does not drop. Switching between the mobile network and wifi is almost instant.

By the way, CM10 boot animation to Jelly Bean desktop takes about 15 seconds. JB boots quick!

Yeah, can't hurt. Put it this way, I was totally against custom Bionic ROMs until I tried this one - they lacked usability. Worst issue with this is that you have to use a 3rd party camera app.

Saw that..camera 360 is the workaround. Out of curiosity..I think I remember reading somewhere that the notifications were more informative/expanded with JB..I understand this is from a JB build being ported to the Bionic but is that included?

Yes, you should. HoB no longer supports 246.
