I'm more talking device and hardware fragmentation, not OS in this case. For instance, the Bionic has a peculiar way of dealing with pixel shaders, it is a nonstandard implementation. Every other phone uses a standard OpenGL supported implementation. The result is that a lot of times, a new game that comes out will simply show a black screen on the Bionic. I know this because I actually worked with Vector Unit to fix this on both Riptide GP and Shine Runner. We kept in close contact troubleshooting the issue, and that is what they found.
If i remember right it only took the Razr 2 days, maybe 3 to be completed. We'll see.
