10-01-2012 08:41 PMI'm completely new to this process, I've read the HOB page, your FAQ and all of the comments. The one thing I don't understand is why safestrap should be removed? I've backed up my files and am just about ready to try this, just want to be sure about the safestrap. I was tempted to try the one-click process that droid modderx has on his youtube page, but your instructions are so much more detailed, the one-click seems too good to be true. The information you've made available is astounding. Thank you for taking the time to educate us and for being so thorough. Very disappointing how Verizon is treating their customers. Thanks for your time.

Safestrap modifies the preinstall partition. As long as you shut down on the unsafe side, the HoB is going to wipe out all that crap for you. But you better make sure you got everything backed up first. And you will need to reinstall safestrap when it's done. if you shut down on the safe side and try to flash, you won't like the resulting brick.

FAQ updated for linux instructions (minimal linux version is in the works, as well) and for dumbass instructions for FXZ'ing 905 from a 235+ build.

10-03-2012 06:34 PMUh......lessee....I'm on leaked 905 stock. From my Xtensive studies I've surmised that I need to fxz back to 902 so I can take the OTA to the REAL 905 and then use RSD lite to flash the miniFXZ and install 2231 from bionic bootstrap. Right? ROFLMAO
