HOLY BEJEESUS. What could possibly suck down that much data (besides the omnipresent pr0n addiction)? I couldn't even run a Vent server on my FIOS connection without VZ getting its shorts in a knot.
Use as much data as u can. Screw Verizon. Until they manage to MAKE us pay for it, bask in the freedom. Oh and the fact that it it's officially no longer legal for them to penalize u for using tethering apps.
I'm gonna watch TWO movies on Netflix tonight just to see how much data i can use! Cheers!
Once again folks I've had to step in here...this time due to a backlash I from a member for something I called him on. I still stand by my opinion of his initial comment but in the process I decided it was better to remove references to the comments altogether.
If I see this thread taking off in an unpleasant direction again, I will close it.
As was proven by at least another member's screen shots, there are other people out there using huge amounts of data (even more than the OP), on their "unliminted" plans and at least for them, Verizon hasn't yet stepped in...but as skennedy and I said, if they felt the need to, they would. It may be in the cards for them next week, next month, or next year, or it may never be an issue.
The OP has clarified this is USB Tethering, so there's no issue of "stealing" bandwidth by hacking the Verizon Hotspot, and even though pdanet and other "over the counter" apps for wireless tethering are now legal, at least one member points to an exclusion of the "unlimited" plans from these methods of tethering so it may still come to a head for those members who use those dramatically large volumes of data monthly.
Any way you slice it, the harsh opinionated comments and heated exchanges need to stop now.
