5.5.5.893 FXZ .901/.902 compatible and.902 update

Certified tested an working new 5.9.902 fxz file for the .901/904 update so if you have bricked ur phone/want to remove root on your .901/902/904 updated phone or just having problems in general. You can now flash this fxz file to put your phone back to 5.9.902 and unbrick your phone. My FXZs have fixed over an estimated 1500+ Bionics so far. For those that have installed and are running the .901/904 system version or are running either .886/.893 system versions due to flashing my FXZs or update all three FXZs can be flashed interchangeably over each other or the 901/904 updates. so you don't have to worry about incompatible FXZs or updates So without further ado here are the steps (YOU MUST FOLLOW THE STEPS OR YOU WILL BRICK THE CRAP OUT OF YOUR PHONE I have had personal experience)

!!Backups no longer needed both FXZs leave internal storage untouched!! Credit goes to theme developer Mbk for this fix in the FXZs XML file You will lose root once you flash either .886/.893 or .902 FXZ file an must use the exploit to get it back. Make sure you are in charge only an USB debugging is selected when rooting.


Step 1 download RSD lite 5.6 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...7&d=1321414457 (you may have to run rds lite in xp compatibility mode for some windows operating systems)


Step 2 download the latest moto drivers here (http://download.clockworkmod.com/dri...iver_5.4.0.exe) if you dont have them.


Step 3 Download the FXZ File from here newvrz_xt875_5.9.902.xt875.verizon.en.us_cfc_01.xm l.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download


Step 4 open RSD Lite and boot phone into ap fastboot (to get into ap fastboot mode power down the device an hold both volume buttons down an the press the power button all at the same time an a menu will pop up. then scroll down to ap fast boot mode with the volume down button an then use the volume up button to select ( Makes sure you have at least 80% battery life and a reliable usb port if flash fails at 1/20, .893 1/22 or .886 1/15 find a different usb port or a different computer)


Step 5 click the browse button on RSD Lite an find the 5.9.902 FXZ zip file that you downloaded an click uncompress and flash. the entire process will take at least 20-25 minutes (you must leave your phone plugged in untill the status on rds lite says finished. so when you start this just walk away an leave it alone or risk bricking your phone) p.s it will say in the last stages to manually reboot your phone just ignore it an it will go away in 60 sec.if it the status on RSD lite doesn't say pass an your phone has been booted for 10 or mins without rebooting it is safe to unplug the phone because some times there is a lag with the RSD lite acknowledging that the phone is booted an running. Also if you get a cdt error for some unexplained reason (AKA ap fastboot failure invalid cdt) you can fix it by downloading this file (FixCDT.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download )


Step 6 Download the Universal motorola phone exploit here motofail_windows.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download an then tada your done

Overclocking scripts

Step 1 Download this zip an flash in cwm http://opptimizer.googlecode.com/fil...son-signed.zip

Step 2 Then download rom tool box an set the max cpu speed at 800 mhz

Step 3 Then open the rom tool box scripter (u will be making 2 scripts)

Step 4 First script = Make sure they are spaced as you see in the post do not put them all on one line so you will put in.

insmod /system/lib/modules/symsearch.ko

insmod /system/lib/modules/overclock.ko

Step 5 Second script you will put in.

echo 3 1200000000 63 > /proc/overclock/mpu_opps

echo 384000000 > /proc/overclock/gpu_opps

Step 6 Then you will run the first script you made if it fails just ignore it its only there to make sure the files needed have run on boot

Step 7 Then run the second script an then your done your gpu will be overclocked an ur cpu will be overclocked to 1200 mhz you can also edit the second script if you want to go higher or lower but don't select the set at boot option in the rom tool box scripter till you have found a stable setting.

Step 3 Put the cpu governor in either ondemand, performance, or user space and apply the script.(Do not apply this script in either of the hotplug governers or u will shut off the cpu an cause the phone to crash an reboot)

Dual core deactivation scripts

Step 1 Open rom tool box scripter

Step 2 Put these commands in the script an save

reflash the fxz file then use the 1 click exploit to get root back this exploit is the only rooting method for .893 then u must use the forever root hack before applying any update
