That is not true at all. I have done many times. The 866 xml is not looking for the other files regardless if the images are there. Thats the point of the xml. It can't tell if there are extra files. The only images reguired are the boot, recovery, system, preinstall and the grfs for an update to flash. The rest, the update doesn't assert.Thats why you take the cdt flah out of the xml completely.

Thanks again , just an fyi I was over anxious and didn't switch the cdt file. Got the AP Fastboot cdt error and them did the cdtfix and everything is perfect on 902 rooted and HAPPY thanks to YOU!

I'd find it hard to believe it is otherwise...So what did you do to edit the .893 XML?
