There's always PIN unlock, but again, not the most appealing option available.
Should Apple actually try to use this in court, it would once again show why I pretty much hate Apple...
For all their talk about Apple products being popular because they're "Solid products that just work" I find them to be so because they're a culture of force. They force users to use their products in certain ways, they force you to have to buy more apple products, or only use apple products, and they force competition out of the market instead of actually letting users decide if their product really is the best.
The problem is a lot of people either don't understand technology well enough to understand how much Apple imposes false limitations, or are too lazy to do anything about it, so Apple gains more and more fans by default.
