    What is "rooting"?

    Sorry guys new to the forum...looking at all the talk about "rooting" phones and tech talk...im curious..thnx

    Rooting is being able to run your phone at it's full potential, i can't explain it further than that. I know someone here can, I'm sure.

    Rooting means giving you access to the root folder. That allows you to make changes to the phone. In old DOS terms it means going from C:\system to C:\
