I have looked through all of the settings, at least I think I have. IS there any way to change it from 1 minute (or whatever it is exactly) to a few minutes?
Thank you

Settings>Display>Screen timeout
Droid does some cool and amazing things. Yet it does not do some basic stuff that has been stock on most phones for years. It makes me think the Google developers were marooned in some kind of a 1977 LOST flashback/flashforward/sideways combo reality gameshow
You rule.. I would have never even thought to look under display. I love it, thanks!
Download Screebl. It will look like it's taking a ton of resources but that's a bug. It will change the timeout to 15 seconds. However it detects if your using the phone and when you set it down it will turn off in 15 seconds. No more need for a random sleep setting or it going off when you don't want it to.
Thanks SSHGuru I will look into that!![]()
I didn't know that, but there's an explanation at Why is Screebl Showing 75%+ Battery Usage?!

I turned it off today because something was eating my battery and I needed to see real stats.
I'll turn it back on when I find the offending program.
