The thunderbolt needed several OTAs before it stopped getting complained about, and just imagine how advanced the D1 got compared to how primitive it seemed when first released.....that is why I'm gonna stay with my Bionic, future potential that has me all giddy inside...lol..
That being said I already love that my Bionic stays @ 4G almost nonstop, whereas my rooted TBolt regularly would drop to 3G.....
I'm still rockin my Bionic non-rooted, but I was curious how much faster it is since you rooted it? My Quadrant score is 2500 rooted what's yours?

Is it hard to root a phone? I have no idea how to but I want to get to rid of bloatware. I have the charge.

Not too sure about the charge, but for the bionic it took about 5-10 mins w the one click root that was provided in the hacks section.
I had a rooted Droid and read which bloatware to freeze without impacting the phone.
Before you root, make a nandroid backup and read carefully how to root and what to freeze.
