About LinkBacksWon't let me delete the Gmail account that required a wipe of the phone.
Deleted the outlook account I had imported.
I don't know how to delete the Phone account. I think I accidentally re-enabled the stupid thing since hitting it and I don't recall how to turn it off. I don't think there are any contacts in that account anyway.

10-05-2011 08:38 PMI manually deleted 220 contacts. Then I sync'd it and they all deleted from my Gmail account.
Then I imported the backed up file from the SD card and it restored them to Gmail. I then went to my phone and made sure it was cleared out and hit sync.
Problem solved! No reset necessary!

I also posted a thread how to turn off Backup Assistant.
