The VZW execs might not be brainless after all because it looks like, although they passed on a gs2 variant, big red will be getting the Nexus Prime (or whatever they choose to call it) which will probably sport up to a 1.5 GHz dual core with a hi def screen of up to 4.65". If not that, then the htc Vigor should do nicely.

I love the Bionic.

And if Sprint offered me the Samsung for free and the service for free I'd still stick with the Bionic and Verizon. Sprint is evil.

I love this solid smooth classy Moto phone. Well, we'll miss ya in the Bionic forums...

The Bionic is a great phone, it is just not the King. I don't try to keep up with the best clothes, cars, or most expensive vacations, but I must have the best phone (within a reasonable waiting time). To give more perspective, a Corvette is a great car, but if I knew I could wait a little longer and get a Ferrari for the same price, it would be a done deal. I don't have the best of anything (except wife), but I do know how to evaluate a lot of things and phones are one of them, and the phone I saw today is just that good.

I have to agree.

Went to Sprint today to check it out and all I can say is, yes please.

Lets just hope Verizon passed it over for a worthy reason because it is epic, pun intended.

People really need to reread the OP. He is not suggesting to leave vzw, he is just comparing the Samsung phone to the bionic. Duh..

Good observations op, making me second guess my future phone. I'm do for the upgrade, however I decided to wait for the price to come down. Now I think I'll wait for the prime. My og Droid is still tickin with no sign of death anytime soon.
