Surf & Talk at the Same Time

Kinda cool that you can do that now with 4G. I had no idea, since I never really needed to.

I used to laugh at my girlfriend and her first iphone because she couldn't do multiple tasks.

I've never needed to surf & talk at the same time before either. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow.

With the thunderbolt you could do it in either 3g or 4g . Is there a way to do it on 3g with the Bionic ? I actually miss my bolt but the battery issue was too much to bear and the bionic is so much smoother !

No. The Thunderbolt is the only Verizon phone that can do voice and data over 3G thanks to its SVDO radio.

I used to laugh at the AT&T commercials about this when the Droid came out. I had never needed to. However, with great power comes great responsibility (someone once said ). I find it being a little annoying at times because I use Maps for navigating quite a bit and it never fails that someone calls me while I'm trying to get somewhere. So it certainly will be nice to be able to do this (on 4G anyway). Luckily, I'm in Jacksonville and we have excellent 4G coverage in many areas.
