Did a master reset but now can't access buit-in storage using a mac

Hello, My D3 was acting wonky so after several attempts to fix it I did a master reset as last resort. It seems to have fixed all my previous issues but now I can't access my built-in storage when I plug into my mac. I tried switching it around starting as charge only then changing it but nothing, also when I plug into the mac finder pops open and i see windows software exe's to install but nothing for mac, should I try on windows first?. I check get info and it says I can read and write to it but when I try it doesn't allow me too. I just added a 32GB ext micro sd card as well but I don't want to use that exclusively. Any ideas?

Did you enable USB access on the droid??

Does the mac show the droid as an external drive that you can eject in Finder? if not, then you have change preferences in finder to show external drives.

Finder should then show both the card and the internal memory of Droid.
