I have never had an issue with the 512MB or RAM on the Droid 3.
I never had an issue with the 256MB on the Original Droid.
I don't see why its such a big factor for people buying phones.
Unless you never exit apps. I back out of them.
HTC Incredible>Droid2>DroidX>HTC Thunderbolt>Back to Droid X>Droid 3>Prime?

As android and associated apps mature the need for ram also increases, newer games and applications are becoming increasingly complex and will only continue to do so as we move further away from the PC being our main machine.
I've been reading all over the net that VZW isn't getting th SGS2. If a person is really interested in the SGS2, they should wait for the Nexus Prime; otherwise pick the D3 if a physical keyboard is a necessity, or pick the Bionic if a physical keyboard isn't a necessity.
I needed a keyboard and 4G so I got the D3 and the Samsung 4G hotspot...the best of both worlds lol.
