Same thing is happening to me on my X. Are you rooted or rom'd?

Having the same problem. More of a nuisance than anything. Rebooting always fixes the issue, but again - annoying.
No rooting.

I've had this happen a few times, yes rebooting fixes it, but so did waiting a while. I got it one morning before leaving for work, didn't reboot, drove to work (roughly 20 - 25 minutes), tried again and it worked fine. So, no idea why it's happening, but if you don't wanna reboot give it some time and try again maybe?
Phone has been like this for a few days now.

This is common on the D2 with 2.30. There is a fix script in the Squidly ROM but that doesn't seem to be a perm solution on mine.
