No, I run stock, and from what I have read on the forums here, I think it was required that you return to stock to get the OTA update to work. Don't quote me on that. I have only rooted a phone once, so I am far from an expert on the subject.

The calling menu is interesting, and the new FB app is definitely nicer, as well as new gmail. I'm always wary of updates though, because the few things I realize I liked when I get them, are the things that are always done away with in updates. Sigh.
I think I need some time to get used to the new interface. Heck I am still upset from when the unlock and mute went from the circular swipe to the straight across swipe. Overall as I have played with it over the last hour or so, I feel it has a cleaner look. It's growing on me. I am sure in a couple days I will love it... I hope.

My update failed. I unrooted and tried everything I can think of. I think bloatware may be the problem but I restored everything I could. Hopefully someone will post the Star Wars Rom and I can update that way.

Did the update retain the Star Wars theme or is it more like the standard D2? Any new SW stuff that wasn't with the original R2D2?

My update failed as well (didn't try to unroot - not sure exactly how). Now the stupid update keeps downloading and trying to install! So every so often the phone will now reset - annoying since I use it for an alarm clock. Don't want it going off in the middle of the night because it tried to update again.

Anyone know how to stop the update from trying - at least until I find the time (and instructions) to unroot (without losing the Star Wars stuff I bought it for) and try again?

    Thanks!

Anyone know what the chances of getting the R2 rom for manual install would be? I've unrooted and removed CWM from my R2 and my update still fails, not sure what the problem is...

My update failed as well. Go figure. I was rooted and I've already un-rooted the phone. My guess is that there is some left over stuff or something that is causing the update to fail. My best guess is that the phone will need to be flashed back to the stock SBF, but I've had no luck finding it.

i am waiting for my update.... Im currently offshore and having to use really, really slow wifi to download it. If it works, i will try to upload my nandroid backup for you rooted users. It goes back to completely stock but rooted, then i deleted the hijack and logwrapper files and the superuser apk from the system folders... then unrooted. I then removed all of my "root" apps i had installed. I should have the download completed tomorrow sometime... If it works i will post back and let you guys know and see if i cant get my files uploaded.

Update: my update failed also... not sure what im missing.... i will try again, maybe just a bad download..idk

    ditto.

Ive been searching for the R2D2 Rom all morning after adding back bloatware and unrooting it still fails after about 25% of the unpacking the update.
    sigh.
