Worked well for me. My girlfriend and I use the messaging app kik though, so I always need my data on.

Would go back to it in a heartbeat if I stopped using kik. Just having the default settings does wonders.

I love Juice Defender and have had it for several months. Because data is off does not prevent text messages from coming through.

I use it, but it does not support gingerbread 2.3 yet. I would look elsewhere until they fix the gingerbread support
