When I go to Settings -> About Phone -> Android Version, it says 2.2.1, but I've never received an update for that, and every time I checked before I was rooted (which wasn't very long ago) it said I was fully updated.

If I need to get to 2.3.20, are there any instructions on how to do so? Should I unroot and flash back to stock? Thanks in advance...
android version is different than system version. 2.3.20 is the moto system version, which runs android 2.2.
    I don't have a "System Version."
Should be right above Model. See below:

    My System version is 2.4.330.

EDIT: I have a Droid 2 Global, but your System Version should be in a similar place. I spaced when I was posting and forgot that this is a D2 post.

Nope, not in my list. Maybe because I'm running Liberty?

Yep, that would do it. You hadn't mentioned that.

You'll need to revert to stock, whether it be by ROM (I think there's a stock ROM floating around) or by SBF. After that, you should be able to flash the leaked GB.

Can I just use the backup I made while on stock?

You don't need to revert to anything to flash GB. Flash it as you would Liberty or any other ROM. Just remember to wipe data/cache first.

If you reverted back to stock, how would you boot into clockwork recovery to flash the leaked GB?

    Point.

The TBH announcement seemed to imply we need to be on stock to flash, and I was assuming rooted, CWM'd stock. Seems that I'm wrong though. *shrug*

If you already flashed the unrooted GB leak you do need to SBF back to stock, root, and flash the new leak to get rooted GB. If you're already rooted and on Froyo (2.2), you just flash it like a ROM. The wording was kinda confusing and it looked like a lot of people that were already on Froyo and rooted were doing the SBF before flashing GB. I suppose you could do it if you wanted to, just isn't necessary.

Where does the TBH app place the zip file?

EDIT: Never mind, I'm an idiot.

Giving this a shot, folks...Installing the g2gbrooted.zip from the TBH app..

I'll let you all know how it goes! If I can get screenshots somehow, I'll be sure to send them your way.

Quickly and flawlessly...Did the following having Liberty 1.5 flashed:

    Rebooted in CWRecovery
    Cleared data
    Cleared cache
    Mounted /system
    Mounted /data
Installed g2gbroot.zip from the teamblackhat/ directory on my SDCard
    Rebooted

Booted right up...setting up my google stuff now!
