Official Gingerbread released !!! Congratulations to everybody !!!

ok so i'm updated to .330 (i think i've called it something new each time i reference it lol), and under menu>about>system updates i'm told that i'm up to date. is gingerbread actually official for our devices? aside from the pdf's in the OP, i haven't seen anything anywhere else on it...

Hey Nola! My ex wife, just told me she didn't get the update either..she is stock, completely...so ..the servers are just bogged..no other reason..just be patient..it won't be long!! Ok? No worries..I promise you will it before tomorrow!! Hopefully in another hour or so...as long as its public realease, so that's why its bogged down...also..try and reboot your phone too..never hurts...:-)

thanks for the encouragement bud. hopefully you're right and it'll hit within an hour or so. being back on stock makes me realize why i loved hexen so much. hope i didn't sbf for nada

Wait a few days. I tried pulling the update earlier right after I sbf'd, no die. The 4.5.607 leak is up anyways, so this doesn't really matter.

Yeah I had been on the leak months ago..it was ok..not a fan of the colors..lol Makes me want to get the Sg2 gonna be the fastest phone as always right out of the box...lol I love mine but I have to give credit to my friends SgS...his flies all over the place..instant..not even tweaked..I just convinced him to let me root it..I'm going to be getting his when he upgrades early to the bionic in a few days...plus since he works for big red, I get the inside scoops!! And killer deals..lol

that being said, should i not even bother waiting for an ota and just go with the leaked .607? would there be any advantages to waiting for the ota?

With it being moments before your able to pull it, you would be having to sbf back again..so its up to you..and hey, its not going to be 2 to three weeks....lol its very soon, the pdf was up or the link anyway..so, if you want to read it? Its just directions on how to download AND that it has been released...I know that for us..when it bogged down, we just went and got it off of droidlife...:-) if indeed it is out and ota, as the pdf says it is, droidlife should have the file posted..I'm sure though you will have to rename it to update.zip and go into recovery, and install as upate:-)

Well there is a flashable .zip in the tbh app...but I would just wait for the update..save from sbfing back? Ours for the D2 was posted shortly after the release..next or same day...our release was on the 11:30 to 1:00am I believe and was only a couple days after the soak... btw Nola, I am not trying to get your hopes all up or anything..I was told the release was officially out for you all now.. I also read the officicial Release pdf...but if for some reason its unable to be dl'ed you can run the leak or go to droidlife and check to see if it is posted..not the leak, but the official ota...:-)
