will undervolting too much use more battery?

I have been using droid 2 overclock by jrummy on my d2g to underclock and volt. I am switching between custom and ULV to test each of them. For the custom voltage I just divided the frequency by 20 to get the voltage. Are they too low?
Or should I stick with ULV?

when I was using quickclock I set mine to 300/12, 600/24, 800/34, 1000/46 hoping this could improve my battery greatly. but after a few weeks I uninstalled the app and just use the stock cpu settings I noticed the same battery life if not better. now I'm at the stock 1.2ghz and I just reached 30h with moderate usage. not sure about the jrummy one cuz it always fc on my phone. hope my experience may help a bit..
