I have noticed my D2G reaches a full charge then starts to discharge. Do you leave your D2G plugged into the charger overnight?

I leave mine plugged in 10 hours at a time with no issues -
when I contacted Verizon they said it was a bad battery and they would send a new one on 12-19. When my replacement did not show up I called back today and they said it was a phone problem and I needed to replace the phone. After all the time I spent getting this phone where I wanted it, I do not want a replacement phone. I insisted on trying a replcement battery first but now I wonder if the phone has other problems?
any thoughts?
Wow,if i were you,i will grab that opportunity!I'll bring that to VZW Store (near me) and tell them that i've already spoke to one of the Representative to the phone..and tell them what was happened b4.

not rooted, only 2 weeks old, just a baby! I sure hate to start over though, so I will see what happens with extra battery first.
