    Bootloop Help Tutorial

    Bootloop Help Guide

There are a lot of things that can get your phone
into a bootloop I hope to list some of the
    ways to get out!

    METHODS:

    #1 Battery Pull
Remove the battery cover on the back of the phone and pull the
battery for about 30 seconds. Cross your fingers and put it back in.

I know this one is pretty simple but it can help in some situations.

    #2 Wipe Cache
While the phone is booting up hold the "x" button on the slide out
keyboard. You should see a screen with an exclamation mark and
an android. Now hold both the volume keys. It should show a list of actions.
Using the volume keys navigate to wipe cache and hit the power button
to select. This usually fixes the CM7 bootloop.

    #3 Nandroid
If you have clockwork-mod installed and have a nandroid backup this
method may work for you. Try to boot into clockwork by holding the volume
down key when the phone is booting up. If this works then use the volume
keys to navigate and the camera key to select. Navigate to nandroid--> restore
and select your backup. You may have to wipe cache afterwards.

    #4 Factory Reset
This will wipe all your data (anything not on SD card) so this
should be done with caution. To boot into stock recovery hold "x" during bootup. Then
you will see an exclamation mark and an android. Hold both volume keys
and you should see a list of actions. Using the volume keys navigate to
wipe data/factory reset. Select it with the power button. It should proceed
    wipe your phone.

    #5 SBF (Last Resort!)
Before you continue you must understand this will completely wipe your phone.
It will be like you just took it out of the box. You will lose everything. It will
restore it to stock froyo. You will do this using 1KDS ezSBF tool (Download). It is an ISO image that you will burn to a disk with software like CDBurner XP (Download)
After you have burnt the disk it is time to boot up on it. Put the CD in the drive,
turn off your computer, turn on your computer and when the BIOS screen comes up
press "F8", go to "Select Temporary Boot Device" and find your CD. It will take about 5 minutes to boot up so while your waiting boot your phone into bootloader. Turn your phone off, hold
both volume buttons and the power button until you get a black screen and then let go. Now connect it to your PC via the USB cable and begin the SBF process.

All credits go to 1KDS for the ezSBF

Inaccurate in so many ways. Apologies for the criticism but it must be done.
Read the FAQ thread we already have. There are better ways to get out of a bootloop than these.

    Breakfast beats worrying.

How to fix a Bootloop with ADB:
"On a computer with adb installed, navigate to your android-sdk's platform tools folder or whichever location adb is found in via command prompt. Run this: adb shell "echo 1 > /data/.recovery_mode; sync;" adb reboot" Thanks to Revnumbers

That didn't mean take stuff from it. Look at the timestamp on the OP.

There is a 4.5.608 sbf that works perfectly. I even think there is an iso that can be burnt to a disk for it. Just ran the same sbf using rsd lite a few hrs ago and it worked perfectly. So this post is a repeat of outdated info as stated above.
Just look in the global dev section of this forum and you will find all the info you could possibly need.
