    Quick question about framework editing.

    Sup guys im wondering if I freeze blur.res and other blur services that bog down the phone, and install a launcher would that I mean like work? Or am I way over my head and talking gibberish?

    The way stock blur operates, that would not work. Blur is integrated with the main framework and cannot be completely removed, only minimalized. That's why we now have Stock ota based roms and 2nd-init roms. The latter removes blur from the picture entirely and gives us more control over what the phone loads.

    The better question now is: why are you still running stock when we have roms like CyanogenMod7 and OMFGB comming out? :P

    I've tried cm7 and miui but I got tired of the bugs. But omfgb sounds interesting. Haven't heard of it. What's it gonna look like?
