    Disable/delete wifi hotspot on D2

    I recently got the D2 and rooted it using the oneclickroot and downloaded barnacle, wireless tether and open garden none of which by passes the verizon wifi hot spot app. Any clue how to delete or disable this feature so I can use my wireless tether without paying $20.00 a month? Please put it in terms for a newb no acronyms thanks

    No way around it on stock. I'm using cm7 rom and the wifi tether app works great.

    Where do i find that rom? and if i install it will i lose my star wars stuff preinstalled on the D2?

    I'm not sure about your star wars stuff so if you really don't want to loose it you might not want to flash cm7. You could always make a backup of stock and flash that rom and see how you like it. Here's the link in case you want to try it. http://rootzwiki.com/topic/2895-dev-...rbread-kernel/
