About LinkBacksHey will version 1.3 of z4root work on the monster 2.3.3 gingerbread leak? And if it weren't and I tried would it just say root failed or would I brick/bootloop?

06-16-2011 06:09 PMMy guess is no. A friend at work recently updated his Droid X to 2.3 and Z4root DID NOT work for him after the official OTA update. It boot-looped him after the second shell command popped up.

07-09-2011 04:29 PMZ4 root DOES NOT WORK. Tried repeatedly to no avail. Followed forums instructions to the letter and got nowhere. Download Gingerbreak v1.20. That's what worked for me
