[Release] OFFICIAL FRG22D - Deodexed, SU and Busybox

This is an update.zip of the latest release. It is not the same as the one previously provided. I simply upgraded to the latest release [FRG22D] and rooted from there. Everything is included so you guys can do with it what you want. The only mod besides su, busybox and the deodexed apps is that I added my handle to the about phone section "FRG22 - metiCkOne". Enjoy and post questions or concerns in the thread.

Wipe or not? It is my recommendation that everyone wipes data & cache no matter what build they are coming from. Also, you should only use titanium to re-install apps without the data. It kinda sucks to re-enter all your info, accounts and bookmarks but in the end, if you run into problems you won't wonder if it’s because you didn't wipe data/cache.

Clockworkmod Instructions: Place file anywhere on your sdcard, boot into recovery, select install zip from sdcard, choose zip from sdcard, and select the appropriate zip file.

SPRecovery Instructions: Rename file to update.zip, place on the root of your sdcard (meaning not in a folder on your sdcard), boot into recovery

Would one just rename the folder (update.zip), put it on sd card and update the normal way...and then back up my phone... sorry for the noob question...

Oh yeah, my bad. If you're using sprecovery you can rename it to update.zip. If you're using clockworkmod you don't have to. You need one of the two custom recoveries though.

Thanks again. Quick question, although this may be entirely repetitive: if I flash this version, do I lose root? And having lost it (should that be the case), is it true that Easyroot and the other one step rooting program (can't recall the name just now) won't be able to root this?

This is rooted and contains the latest superuser app. You won't lose root if you flash this. As far as I know easyroot and universal androot will not root FRG22D.
