Which overclock rom do you suggest for this build, I'm lovin it, fast and smooth, no issues yet.. I have the need for more speed!!!

I am interested in this as well... had some bad luck with heating issues using bugless beast's froyo and overclocked kernels..

Using Kangerade as stock is generating some great battery life and running very cool though, rummy you r0xers!

That is a hit and miss thing some phones use certain kernels better then others. I'm using P3Droids 1000Mhz kernel for Froyo it is running extremely fast and heat is very low. (32.0 C) I havent tried any of Chevy's yet but other people are having great success with them as well.

Jrummy first off thank you again for such a stable system. Secondly to all.. does anyone know the .apk to access the google search widget for themeing? I know there was another post about the ADW having the google search themed but the other launchers do not have it. In my case went with the stock Froyo launcher, but want to get back the themed google search??

GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk for default launcher. All others are part of the launcher.

Thats what I thought. Thank you. The issue then I have is I opened them up and went to the res folders and looked at the PNG but could not figure out what tied to the google search widget. In the ADW launcher it has more files that appear to be used for the search widget compared to opening launcher2 for the stock froyo files. Do you happen to know what files I would need to swap out from the launcher to the stock one?

Just FYI, if it helps others in the future.

Someone suggested to me to install the stock FROYO build from JRUMMY's area in Rom Manager first. (Since I couldn't seem to flash a 2.2 rom without it hosing up to save me.)

I did this and it was great! Automatically restored all apps, etc.

Then I flashed JRUMMY's build 1.0 on top of that without a wipe and it is working great.

Launcher2 "stock" with froyo doesn't have anything to do with the search widget anymore. Others will have a files called search_floater.9.png. That is for the background. The other files associated are right there as well.
