Did you delete the stock Messaging app? If you did, you need to put it back because Handcent relies on it for MMS messages.

No I still have it. Its hidden in launcher pro but never removed it.

NO JOKE, GLD? I didn't know that. I've been driving myself crazy for a month because of this! I don't like doubling up on everything, so I always rename mms.apk to mms.bak in /system...

No joke!! I'm the same way, and discovered this the hard way after removing mms.apk many months ago, way back when we were still doing 2.0.1 ROMS.

Forget what I said. The problem with batt. life is with the new kernels. Old kernels in 1.7 work better but have a bad temp monitor. New ones have working temp monitor but bad battery life. So try the old kernels if ur gettin bad battery life.

i feel so special - being missed, and GL2T actually acknowledging that she goes slumming now and again on gtalk.

i have been really busy - my kids' sports, school functions, i totalled my car, i've been staying up til 3 a.m. for work, yada, yada, yada... but, i'm hopeful that things will let up, and i can get back into the swing of things. i'll be seeing y'all around - buhlee dat!

There we go, he's back! Let's not make threats about college football because we both know it won't go well... Time to jump back on the Liquid train. This is easily the best yet and it's been my go-to for quite awhile now! Glad to have you back...

So no one has any ideas what else my problem could be? I remember on my Eris I had to delete and restore APNs with some ROMs. Not sure if it applies to this phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a new niece that lives in Florida so I gotta have pix msg. I have even tried using the stock app and they still aren't coming through.
