Quick question on the slayher kernels, are the included ones any different from the 1.6 version I grabbed a day or two ago from Froyo Kernels by slayher - CyanogenMod Forum ?

Yes, they definitely are different. These slayher kernels are a result of a collaboration between Liquid and slayher. They fix Goggles AND (drum roll) have compcache enabled by default.

    +1

I second this approach. The framework is a bit different than v1.4, so the 1.4 themes won't work. It's probable that you won't have a problem with not wiping, but if you do start experiencing problems, just wipe (please follow Liquid's instructions in the "installation instructions" link and install again.

Ok, I actually had to do a little work, so haven't made it beyond restoring my apps. Fingers crossed that there's a 1250 version when I actually get to look.

edit how do those kernels compare to chevy's?
Yes yes yes, it is SO worth the hassle (I've been running this final version since last night).

The slayher kernels just totally rock -- which is why Liquid teamed up with him!

hey liquid crew. This is a really nice setup! As a member of Droid Concepts I know how awesome if feels to hear how much people like your work. So with being on a bit of break while woodymans on vacation I been trying stuff out like crazy. I came to your stuff last for no particular reason and its by far top of my personal list. Great work you set the bar on this one.
