I think when that happened to me, o just kept going into the market app a few times and it just started to work.
I also had someone tell me something about the Google acct.
You have to log in to your Google acct. I am not sure if it's through Gmail or where it's at. Look at your devices. You've likely replicated the number of devices and a few need to be deleted.
