LBG 3.1 extremely long vibrate notification

As the wife's stock OG Droid was nearly useless, she let me root it. Now it's like a new phone screaming along at 900mhz of Liquid infused chocolaty goodness.
But..........she uses a notification tone and vibrate for all her notifications. The stock phone does a couple quick vibrate bursts for this. But for some reason LGB 3.1 uses one long vibrate. And it's just plain annoying.
Is there anyway for me to shorten the duration of the notification vibration?

Forgot to post. Found it. Go into messaging, settings, notification settings, choose.
And boy is my wife relaxed!
