Has anyone tried or is currently using Prime's deprimed kernel on this rom? I'm getting massive screen wake lag when powering on the screen or on incoming phone calls

It's typically my kernel of choice and I've tried commenting out some of the tweaks and config settings built into liquid's rom but it's been futile

Any advice would be much appreciated

I would recommend trying a kernel with a nice interactive govenor. I have heard about switching to interactive helps the screen wake lag and also I think it's better than OnDemand in general. Pete has a nice one and CorCor67 has a nice kernel build off Pete's base kernel source.

Yeah I've tried chevy and pete's kernels in the past I think both of them are also great kernels I just love the smoothness I get from Prime's kernel. He has the interactive gov as well as smarta$$/smartmod/bumblebee all the same iterations of the interactive governer to save battery life. The customization is what makes Prime's kernel the best imo

If anybody has more development knowledge that knows why or where I can go to eliminate the screen lag/screen wake time would be awesome. I only get lag on the screen wake using liquids rom using deprimed. cm7, cm7nightlys, miui never lag on screen waking which tells me it has to be a tweak or config somewhere inside this rom.

Hi guys. I has a question before i flash. i just sbfed earlier from trying liquid 3.0.. idk why but it bootlooped prolly because i never wiped cache.. Im hoping if I flash the 3.1 and wipe everything itll be able to boot. but I wanna make sure. again i sbfed then got the ota GB.. so do i need to sbf to froyo then flash or flash this straight over gingerbread? sorry if its an obvious question but kinda stopped flashing roms after zombiestomped and then the actually gb ota came out but its been killing my battery life. Really wanna try liquid.. just wanna do it right.

Edit- Also is there a certain kernal i need to run this rom? or will the stock kernal run fine? even so if i could get help with an interative governored kernal that would be fantastic.

Oh I love Prime's too, hes amazing I just found it to be a little slow personally.

Cant help ya anymore than that though.

EDIT: Ill test it out now and see if its you or the ROM

Def getting some screen lag and also noticed "Android OS" in Battery Stats is at a whopping 22% where usually is is about 5% or lower.

Its fairly significant wake up lag. After loading deprimed and let it settle in for a few minutes after booting then turn the screen off wait a few minutes then try and turn the screen on and I have to wait a few seconds before the screen even lights up
