I'm not sure if it hurts anything or not. Instead of deleting it, rename it to dspmanager.apk.bak so it doesn't run. If nothing bad happens then you can delete it.

I always delete mine right away, you need all the precious ram space you can get with gingerbread on a 256mb phone. No issues that i've run into...

So far everything is working well. The only problem I have is Battery. I go to bed phone is at 80 or 90 %. When I get up I check e-mail & weather drops to 50% instantley. I open facebook down to 20%. That's the only problem. Running stock kernal, have not changed any settings.

Can you elaborate a bit? I have always heard to reset them you first Reset the stats THEN drain phone down from 100%-0% and charge back to full.

However I saw liquid say to basically do it backwards, drain to 0, charge to 100, THEN wipe stats.

Does anyone know what the default "Sleep Mode" is under the Performance settings and build.prop? I messed around with it but forget what default is.

Rom seems to be great. I do have some questions though about a couple things... how to fix?

Log Collector - when I try to run this it gives me the Log Collector version 1.1.0, device model Droid, firmware 2.3.7, Kernel Version Unavailable so doesnt work.

a logcat just gives a blank white screen.

Liquid settings/performance/prop modder - remove logcat the check mark keeps returning and check service and 3G speed hack wont stay check marked.

Try adding this line to the end of a script in /etc/init.d
mkdir /dev/log/main

I was just getting ready to post the same thing! I'm not able to get the 3g speed hack to stay checked. As soon as I back out of Liquid Settings and go right back in, its unchecked.

The 3g settings stay in effect if you check the box once even if it unchecks...

So far it's working well on my Droid X. Faster than 3.0, and better battery life. Plus a few apps that said they were not compatible with my phone now install.

WiFi does not work reliably. Most times tries to open, then results in the word "error" being displayed.

Alarm clock results in FC. May extract the one from 3.0 as others have described.

Camera works more than it did in 3.0 (used to result in FC after each picture, and require a reboot to function again). In 3.1 it takes multiple pictures, and only locks when I try to change the zoom. Although it locks, I am able to go home and then back to camera, where the app is at 1.0 zoom once again.

Biggest thing from this ROM I can speak on so far is a fantastic improvement in battery life. I was about to sbf back to Froyo from the previous ROM because of battery life. Great job on the battery!
