    Ringtone won't shut off

Is this still an ongoing issue with GB on the Droid 1? Is anyone else using a different kernel or overclocking settings? I hate going back to Froyo for this one issue.

I'm having the same problem with my Droid 1 as Chris79 is having. The phone will ring, I will do the slider to answer, it will answer and I can hear the person, but the ringtone is still ringing. They also cannot hear me. A battery pull is all you can do to get this to stop. Now this also doesn't happen on every call. I have also noticed that if you slide the slider all the way across the screen to the red X to answer, it works, but if you stop about half way, it kinda only half answers.

Maybe it thinks if you are only committed to sliding the slider half way, I'll only commit to answering your call half way. It also doesn't do it on every call. I wonder if it has something to do with the ringtone delay feature which I don't fully understand, but have set at 200.

    Any thoughts from anyone?

    Thanks

Raise the lowest CPU frequency slot. I've heard 500mhz works better for phone calls

Maybe you should use a different govenor as possibly the ON-Demand isnt ramping as fast as it should. Try interactive perhaps as it ramps much faster.

I'm currently set with Governors at MinMax and Min set to 600 and Max set to 800. I tried the 1Ghz Kernel and the phone was a bit flaky and would reboot on its own. I dropped it back to 800 based on what someone else stated. It seems better.

    We will see what happens.

I'm running the Ultra Low kernel from liquid smooth's website. ChevyNo1-0.8Ghz-ulowV-7slot-update.zip

It seems to run cool, does get warm when charging and running the GPS and the screen is on all at the same time.

Not to put down what you're saying but in my experience the main reasons a phone will run hot. (I could be wrong though lol)

    1. Not fully compatible kernel
    2. High speed 1Ghz or more
    3. Voltage usually high speed high voltage or low/ultra low voltage if not fully compatible
    4. Constantly changing speed slots
    5. Running intensive apps (obviously lol)

His setup should be pretty ok if the kernel works right

Well the voltage corrosponds to different speeds....ei) 28 vsel(voltage) at 250mhz for example and lets say 60vsel at 800mhz for example with the rest being inbetween that.

If the phone isnt clocking down to 250 when it is sleeping then it will constantly be running at a higher speed adn thus higher voltage than it would be and thus generating more heat since more voltage= more heat.

    ICS CM7 Theme?

I just saw the ICS theme available for CM7, and absolutely LOVE IT. However, the only way to get the Honeycomb/Ice Cream Sandwich lockscreen on standard CM7 is to use WidgetLocker, and I've had nothing but annoyances with that in the past. There's a lockscreen mod for CM7 available, but it doesn't look anything like the pictures of the Galaxy Nexus lockscreen. I was wondering if there was a way to use this theme on Liquid 3.0, since it seems that it's CM-based. Any insight (or even opinions) would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
