Switching to CM6.1.2
Well I hate to do it guys, but finally switched to Cyanogenmod 6.1.2. I was just having way to many instability issues with LGB 3.0, camera never worked, constant battery pulls, no maps. Gonna try cm6 and hopefully will get some better results. Looking forward to the Nexus Prime, or possibly the HTC Vigor

well then those are "prerelease", which generally means "you're paying to use a beta test version, which is not ready for general use". i fail to see how you can base that sort of judgment on an incomplete version.
2.6 is the current stable version. it may not be as up to date as you'd like (although, cm6.1.2 is even older), but it works just fine.
as for Maps, it's a Market app. has been for a long while now. go download it if you need it. there's no reason to bundle it unless the bundled version is a mod, and i don't believe I've seen any Maps mods out there yet.

Camera works fine for me, never had to pull the battery once, maps works fine too. Not sure why you had so many problems, 3.0 is going to top any ROM out right now. You guys are going to love it so just hang tight, Big L out did himself big time on this build.

How is the free ram on LGB 3.0? That's the biggest issues I've been running into. The D1 doesn't have much to begin with and these Gingerbread roms keep getting fatter not leaving much room for anything else.
