well then those are "prerelease", which generally means "you're paying to use a beta test version, which is not ready for general use". i fail to see how you can base that sort of judgment on an incomplete version.

2.6 is the current stable version. it may not be as up to date as you'd like (although, cm6.1.2 is even older), but it works just fine.

as for Maps, it's a Market app. has been for a long while now. go download it if you need it. there's no reason to bundle it unless the bundled version is a mod, and i don't believe I've seen any Maps mods out there yet.

Ive been using every version of lgb since about 1.6. Both public releases, beta, aplhas, w/e. The problem is they just dont want to work for my phone. Its great it works for others, I am truely jealous, but not working with my phone. I have camera and maps stability again, and phone hasnt once froze on my, where I have had to do a battery pull (daily on LGB)

How is the free ram on LGB 3.0? That's the biggest issues I've been running into. The D1 doesn't have much to begin with and these Gingerbread roms keep getting fatter not leaving much room for anything else.

3.0 really isnt that much different. Just some cleaned up code is about it
