Has anyone noticed any problems with bluetooth connections? I'm sadly still running on S.S 4.6, bc every rom so far has bugs with the bluetooth.
The camera on my X works just fine. But it did not at first. I had to go into the settings for the camera and change all the high res stuff to lower res. I don;t have the phone in front of me right now but I installed the updated camera, went into the settings and changed the highest res to, I think, either 3MP or 5MP and few other things.
When I get the phone, I post more details. Once I did this, I did not get the camera not found errors, black screen, etc.
So I finally updated my LGB to 2.4(from 1.85) and it fixed all my bugs that I had in 1.85. However, I now can't receive calls. When someone calls me it rings and I can answer. It does connect successfully. However, the dialer program then freezes and I can't click on any of the buttons("End Call" or Speaker Phone") nor can I talk. When I talked I don't hear myself in the earpiece and the person I'm talking to can't hear me.
Also even when the person ends up hanging up on me cause they can't hear me, the phone is pretty much frozen. When I click on something(like the home button) 10's of seconds later it responds.
Anyone have any suggestions? This has happened after several reboots. I've also, cleared the cache of the dialer app.
Why on 2.4 when 2.5 is out and 2.6 is coming soon???....also try runing fixperms in terminal then reboot? When I flash a rom I always run fixperms because a few perms may change during the flash and running the script should set all perms to what they should be
One other question. When I upgraded from 1.85 to 2.4 I did a factory reset cause I wasn't sure how well it would work if I didn't. When going from 2.4 to 2.5 or 2.6 do I need to wipe anything or can I just install it?
Well....best to wipe everything but here is a crazy mans install
#Clean:assuming on RZR and fully charged just cuz. Check md5 or other hash with the number liquid provided. I use hashtab on my pc.
#mount sdcard and delete all android folders like android_secure, android, data and inside the DCIM delete 100andro and thumbnails (Leave camera alone because it holds your pictures and screenshots is that)
#Then go back to recovery and wipe everything seperately like system, data, boot, cache, dalvik, battery.
#Then instal rom and boot into android.
#That should work for going from froyo to gb and back and left and right etc....
#Easy but bugs may pop up: If you don't wanna do that then in recovery wipe system, boot, dalvik, then cache.
# and install
The reason dalvik before cache is because gb places the dalvik cache in the cache partition and rzr hangs for me if I wipe cache first. But wiping dalvik then cache has never givin me problems.
I only wipe everything if switching roms but upgrades from this version to that is usually the easy way unless I see a lot of framework changes....but best to go the clean way just to avoid problems
Yea that sounds good...liquids sends roms every few days sometimes once a day sometimes it takes longer but I'm always messing with my phone....but when I get problems I wipe everything
