Liquid Gingerbread v2.2 Release

I installed LGB2.2 last night. No problems during the install as I've noticed with all of Liquids Roms. hopefully this version has knocked out alot of the problems we were all having with the previous releases. however, I am really interested to hear about his possible camera fix. Would someone be able to point me in the direction of some sort of "guide" and link so as to extract and install this "Cyanogen 7.1 RC camera.apk"?

Download the CyanogenMod 7.1-RC1 zip, and using a file explorer (I use ES File Explorer) extract the .zip to somewhere your phone's SD. Then in the newly created folder, navigate to system/app and find the Camera.apk and click on it. It will then proceed to install, and there you have it!

I downloaded and installed LGB 2.2 last night and had my phone fully charged before I went to sleep, so I unplugged it. Just woke up this morning 8 hours later, and I was down to 50%. I checked the battery usage monitor, and a process called mediaserver had apparently been running the entire night and had not allowed my phone to idle. I'm not sure if it's some app I have installed, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT:I read somewhere that it might have to do with a Pandora widget, so I'm going to see if removing that from my homescreen does anything.

Great work Liquid. You're doing great and thanks for the nightly builds. Things are always getting better. Oh yeah guys, make sure to support Liquid the best you can. I know he puts in a lot of hard work, just like a lot of you do.

I haven't had an issue yet. I've received all texts as far as I know. I always lock messaging in memory and limit texts to 400 per thread. I wonder if having too many texts might be the cause of some peoples' problems?

It's not, tried twice to take a picture and reboot both times after attempt. Haven't tested camcorder yet. Full wipe upon install, stock kern. 250-900.

I've tested out the camera a few times this morning, and it does seem to be working pretty good without any forcecloses and freezing. I think I'll hold off on replacing the camera.apk for a lil bit.

You might want to wipe and try again because the camera works perfect.
