    dumb question, but can the Droid (og) get some sort of virus?

    this is the first time using anything linux based. a couple days ago my phone started acting up really bad! freezing while trying to make a call, while trying to txt, during the camera and what not. then i noticed a new folder in my pictures with some ads of the new "zookeeper" movie. i checked astro for other files/folders and i saw a folder named "millenialmedia".

    is it possible i got a virus somehow?

    Do you have the words with friends app on your phone? I have noticed this same folder and I think its the ads from words with friends. Let me know if this helps

    i do. i just updated as well because ti was getting unbearable! coudn't even get one game in before the damn "update" button popped out.

    There are antivirus apps on the market too...not sure which are any good but only get one of the more downloaded ones because there are a few out there that might actually PUT a virus on your phone...
    tweaks, hacks, and other goodies here
