Pre-v1.8 Icons

So, my love for LGB is battling with my hatred for the new status bar icons. I have stayed on v1.7 for this sole reason. It seems most people who spoke up liked the new icons, so I realize I am in the minority. This is my main stumbling block with v1.8+ and I just can't get over it. I've looked at a lot of theme options, but I always come back to the stock gingerbread look.

Is there a way to hack together bits and pieces from the 1.7 to get 2.0 to show the old icons (i.e., stock Gingerbread)? Or am I stuck dealing with it or moving to another ROM? Heck, maybe it'll be enough to finally get me into trying to put together my own ROM.

And that is why I love Liquid ROMs. Best developer-user interactions I've seen, coupled with an absolutely fantastic ROM.

This is actually a pretty cool option. I for one like the look of LGB but it is definitely an awesome function for those who dont.

I don't like the new icons either, so I've been changing them back on each release. I didn't wanna sound like I was complaining, however v2.0 is definitely the smoothest LGB on my phone so far. Thanks Liquid.
