Has the OG Droid reached EOL?

Seems like getting 2.3.4 to work with the OG is like getting a square peg to fit in a round hole. Are our hopes and dreams for Gingerbread OG coming to an end?

I'm afraid so.........can't wait until Feb, 2012 to upgrade. Its still fun testing all the GB roms. I had pretty good luck with ss5.4. But froyo roms (sourcery) are the most stable for me

Mine did, it had the possession problem. Loved the OG but I'm loving this TB as well.

Yep, I believe so. It's great trying out the new GB roms that come out, but I always end up going back to a froyo build for functionality and stability.

I've had excellent performance with the MIUI Gingerbread builds. I haven't really noticed much of a difference between Froyo and Gingerbread, aside from aesthetics.

I actually didnt vote because I would go a third direction. I already am very happy with GB roms. I havent looked back at froyo in a while honestly.

Maybe "crazy experiments" wasn't good language. These guys (and gals) putting together these ROMs are doing incredible work... I guess my point is, perhaps you can only squeeze so much blood out of a turnip...
