So I'm running on 1.85 and I started deleting some of the bloat like carhome and news and weather. Stuff like that. But by mistake, I deleted the desk clock so now when I put it on the dock, my clock is no longer there. how do I get that same clock back? I tried some from the market but none are as good.
Reflash without wiping...? Or pull the apk from the zip file...
Anyone else?

Do you have a back up? If you do, place it on your computer and open it. Go to the directory /system/app/deskclock.apk, copy it to your sd card under the same directory. You will need Root Explorer to do this and Mount R/W in Root Explorer. Then reboot your phone.
