Horrible battery life after......

This week I discovered one thing that has me a little confused, Like in my suggestions above I myself was monitoring the "running" & "screen on" % & comparing the two, well with the stock kernel they would always be within 1-3% of each other, but after trying & flashing a few alternate kernels, I would get as much as a 8-10% difference between the two, with all other varables remaining exactly the same, so this tells me with the alternate kernels either my droid was not going into a deep sleep as quickly when turning off the display or something was causing my droid some insomnia, BUT the kicker is, I was getting longer battery life with the alternate kernels.....this calls for more testing...

Well I have been running 1.92 for a couple of days now. I was running stock LGB 1.92 and my battery would have to be recharged after 12 hours (15%-20% battery life). So I changed the liquid settings -> performance -> overclocking -> min & max from 250/1100 to 250/800 and after moderate use I am sitting at 80% and my phone has been on battery for 16h 25m 23s.
