    Switching back to froyo...

    Alright guys, Ive pretty much decided to go back to froyo. When my gf is runing a lithiummod rom from like a year ago, and runs smoother than my perfectly tweaked GB rom, its pretty irritating. I needed to check something online, so I grabbed my gfs phone, and pulled up the browser. I was absolutly shocked, becasue I remembered, that droids can actually go on the internet, and not crash constantly! Using my GB rom phone, it CONSTANTLY CRASHES. I am currently using SS5.2, and its super unstable, probably have to reset it at LEAST 2 times a day. LGB is a ton more stable, but the lack of Lock in Memory is causes aps to get killed as soon as they are in the background, so things like music apps are impossible. Liquid s supposedly adding that option in, but honestly with how insane the task killer is, only being able to lock in 5 apps is a pain in the ass, because it kills EVERYTHING. Honestly, like shouldnt GB be better, not worse? Is there anyway to import the task killer from Froyo to GB.

    Pretty much what im saying is Ill give 1.9 a try, but probably going to wind up back on froyo. Theres only 2 things. 1 when I have tried it so far to switch to froyo, using titanium doesnt work for the data for a lot of apps. Does data work different on froyo then it did in GB? 2. Which rom should I switch to, and why

    But like I said, it hasnt been released yet, and if I do have problems, I want to be ready to switch back

    That's what I was running before gb too. If you use rz's recovery I would try his froyo rom also. I think its v5

    You can't restore gb data on froyo either, to answer your question

    I was in the same situation as you. Reverted back to froyo. Then was irked on how slow froyo was at times. I'm currently using project elite v6 beta and I'm quite pleased so far. Id give that a try before ruling out GB...

    The problem with project elite is the same Im having with switching from GB to Froyo, it wont let me transfer the data. Ive only tried v5, but havent tried v6 yet
